The increasing participation of bloggers to different “make money online schemes”, resulted to the growth of online businesses promoting affiliate programs. A lot of bloggers have become successful from these affiliate programs unfortunately, not all bloggers managed to be successful. To succeed in affiliate programs, a blogger should have clear objectives, strategies and should join suitable affiliate programs.
I’m preparing a post on affiliate programs in the coming days. To those who have been successful with affiliate programs, would you mind sharing your tips through the comment. It’s also be appeciated if you share the links to your affiliate programs. I will quote you when I finally published my post on affiliate programs and link to your blog.
Thank you very much for your time and tips!

My best tip for web based affiliate marketing publishers would be to create a site that is very unique and content rich.
Make a site on a topic that you are passionate about. Try to find a niche that isn’t popular. You don’t want to compete against a million other sites.
If your keywords are unique enough you could end up on the 1st or 2nd page of Google with very little marketing.
Think about things that you love or like to do and make a micro site about it. Then think of ways to monetize it with banners and text link ads.

@Debby and Guardian Angel,
Thank you for sharing your tips.
Affiliate marketing, if you are to integrate into your current blog (for me, the blog I mean here is Wayne Liew Dot Com), you will need to gain a wide audience and the influencing power to do affiliate marketing as bloated products are all over the Internet and the skepticism is high in customers before they actually pay.
To promote an affiliate program successfully, you will need to test the product yourself (or at least write on your pre-sale page like you have actually tested it) so that you will gain confidence among your readers.
That’s all for this post I guess since I am sure I will have more to comment on your future posts covering affiliate marketing.
