I believe that you need not limit your advertisement to the people in your town. Your blog can be used to promote tourism in your area. I don’t see anything wrong reaching out to a broader audience. Blog promotion to build your readership and traffic needs time. You need to invest more time and resources to make this possible.

As of the moment, I have about 380 feed subscribers, that’s for more than 6 months of continuous blogging. You can organize a blog contest (reward your subscribers) or continue making quality post to attract more subscribers.
