I have received an email today from Pinay Ladies, one of the readers of Blogging Mix. Pinay suggested me to review SuckMyLolly.com, another great website that offers Free Templates for Classic Blogger. The designs of the free blogger templates available at SuckMyLolly are simple, unique and very attractive. Here are some thumbnail shots of the template designs.

Sharnee, the author of SuckMyLolly started her blog because she got tired of the generic Blogger template designs and because there is a limited number of free Blogger templates available. Like she said, she simply wants everyone to have an awesome template design so don’t forget to take a look at her template designs.
Custom Blogger TemplateWhen Sharnee started her blog, she also accepted request for a custom blogger template. Unfortunately, the number of requests were overwhelming so she temporarily stopped accommodating requests for custom blog templates. If you would like to request for a custom blogger template you would have to wait as the list has gone long.
Suggestions For SuckMyLolly
Most Blogger users are now upgrading their blogs to use the New Blogger so it would probably be a great idea if Sharnee starts to create free Blogspot templates. Also, the free blogger templates at SuckMyLolly are all 2 columns. Right now, there is a high demand for three column blogger templates so creating 3 column templates is probably a good idea. Lastly, I am hopeful that Sharnee changes her mind and create templates for New Blogger as well.

Rocky, when I was searching for a template for my blog, I checked out this site, “Suck My Lolly” not suck my molly.
Two reasons I wouldn’t ever use their templates:
1) They don’t work with New Blogger.
2) The name of their site disgusts me. While it may be innocent, the double meaning of the site name, is one I wouldn’t use if it cost me my life.
If they were to change their site name, and make them work in New Blogger, I would consider it. But as is, no way.
Hi Lin,
Thanks for the heads up.
I hope Sharnee, visit the review I’ve done for his blog.
Cheers!:)
Thanks for the review here.
Wow, first of all I was impressed that you reviewed me and said some nice things about my designs but I simply MUST address Ms “Telling it like it is” – deary deary me, missy… would you like some bitterness on top of your conservativeness? I feel sorry for you, I honestly do.
You wouldn’t use one of my templates if it cost you your life? WHAT? Are you completely bonkers?
(well, yes, your comment tells me that you actually are! I just can’t see how a blogger username equates to a life?)
Anyways…. I dislike widgets, I don’t think the average person needs a three column blog and I stand by what I say that “old blogger” is more malleable than new blogger is.
I only make blogger designs as a hobby (I work full time too) so I’m only doing what I can do with the time that I have
I just want to make pretty ones that people like… and if I do that then I’m happy.
xx
Sharnee
ps: I’m not a “he”
There are templates for both the new and the old Blogger formats at suckmylolly.com and all of them are very cute templates. It’s not hard to turn a new template into an old template either. I have done it before, anyone who takes the time to look at the code can do it. And I know the first comment on here was made a year ago but I think the guy was lazy and foolish.
