I am a huge fan of your site… I advertise on your project wonderful faithfully… My alexa ranking has significantly increased because of your blog and your tips.
But, I was a bit disappointed when going through this list of high page rank dofollow blogs. I would have hoped, with it being a relatively small list compared to other dofollow lists, that you would be pruning it and keeping it up to date.
At least 1/3rd of them are either not the right page ranks (I found a few zeros) or they are no longer dofollow.
I know this must be one of your most linked to and highest traffic posts, so please be a good webmaster and update it.

I love Andy Beard’s blog, it is a great place to develop your own ideas or bounce off of due to his in depth yet irreverent style. In case you’re having writers block for your own blog.
One good technique I found recently was to just start typing in a good blogs/post’s comment field, and see what comes out… if it’s good, don’t hit “Submit”, but instead copy/paste and flesh it out/edit a bit into your own post.
Agreed that you do not want to spam him or even post low quality comments, as he will revert your link to NoFollow and probably publicly shame you… in his own inimitable way…

Thanks for the list of links - I’ve found a few no-follow’s which is sad. Every once in awhile I will find myself really intrigued by an article someone has posted, and decide to contribute something to it. I’ve caught myself a handful of times *after* writing a very long comment checking and finding out it is a no-follow blog. Very disheartening at that point.

A good improvement would be that you indicate the type of content for each blog, too, - just one additonal line would be fine. It isn’t easy to guess what a blog called ‘Clement Nyirenda’s Blog’ is about. It is very important that such a list isn’t used for spamming the listed blogs.

My site has been receiving great comments from other bloggers on Linkreferral, but I still have a long way to go as far as building traffic. Also, my Technorati authority is dismal at the moment.

Good article. In response to some of the comments, granted some of these sites may have an incorrect page ranking or may have converted to a nofollow, still the effort that you have put in is commendable. Personally, I comment on a blog because I want to; not because it is a dofollow. The whole nofollow scene is a thorn on one’s side but that is a highly debatable topic. If I do get some link juice that is great but if not no problem. This is just like helping someone on the road that has had a flat tire; you can either help ( by commenting ) or simply keep driving; but let us not stop to help and charge some money ( getting backlinks ). Let us all rise above the mundane and commonality just to get some backlinks. Thank you Sir.
