Nowadays I have six domain names registered. One of them is a 'generic' domain name, which I can use to try new blogs and see if they work. The thing you have to watch out for is that you need to concentrate on why and how your going to work on the blog so that the content doesn't either seep off or lose that Zing that you had when you first started.
