My biggest blog motivation deterant is getting the text to look good on the site. Or the site not screwing up the text sizes etc.

My problem isn’t writing or being motivated but trying to fix stupid things I’m not good at like PHP and HTML.

Well, I think blogging is hard for first 3 months, when You need to put up much work in it, create some content and be indexed by major searches. After that 3 months its a little easier, because You already have some visitors and so.

All great recommendations. There are times I get frustrated, or writers block, and need to do something to put the spirit back in me. I usually go and read 30-40 other similar blogs at that point and it gives me a much needed push.

Goals are what keeps me motivated. I’ll go a few days without blogging, and see my traffic suffer, and so i know that i need to blog more often.

I really don’t have any monetization of my blog yet, and so money isn’t a motivator. I don’t want it to be the sole motivator. Once the next pagerank update comes, then we’ll see what kind of money i can get for my efforts.
