<description>I&#039;ve heard that any publicity is good publicity ... it just depends if you can use it to fuel your ambitions!

<description>You do not need to be a liar or a scammer to gain negative publicity.

If I wrote a post tomorrow criticizing John Chow for being a money grabbing... it would get a lot of views. Am I lying? That is subjective, depending what you think of Chow.</description>

<description>negative publicity does not equate to lying. It may also be taking an unpopular stand over something, and then all other bloggers gang up on you.

But to the liars, they&#039;d be exposed in the long run, and they&#039;d be branded as such online and offline.

		<description>Hi Rocai,

You posed an interesting question there. I think in general humans are more pulled toward the negative in life. Just look at how many people read the newspapers every day or watch the news.

Personally I prefer not to go down that road. I stopped doing both of these things a couple of years ago and found it really helps to keep me focused on the good things in life.

Having said that, sometimes it is necessary to stand up for what is right and call out the wrong. Unfortunately this involves negativity, like in the post I wrote (thanks for the link BTW).

In the end it really comes down to two things in regards to your post.

1) being honest or
2) being a lying scammer

What is it your choose?
