As someone in the “make money online” sector. I completely follow what you are saying.

I believe that there are many similarities in the methods we all use for content planning. The Keyword Research Tools, Feeds we subscribe to, etc , can lead to similar ideas. I believe to Read, Compare, Filter and Compose can be a great method.

I’m not unique after all.. sigh…

In the politics / economy niche, there is plenty of juicy info published by the government & private analysts that doesn't get picked up by the mainstream media. Something new can be truly unique & go viral for a ton of hits. The voice you use and the points you emphasize could be one way. There are many novelists. If Tom Robbins and Ernest Hemingway wrote a novel on the same story, each would be read by different people.
