Every blogger once in a while feels unmotivated to continue blogging. This can be due to several reasons, and the most common reason is the failure to generate expected traffic. If you’re an ambitious blogger like me, probably, you’ve set a blog objective of generating more than 10,000 visits to your blog for your first month. However, after your first month of blogging, you’ve only managed to generate 10% of your goal. Obviously, this is depressing and it could be a sufficient reason for bloggers to stop blogging. But before you raise the white flag, take your time to read this article. It might help. So, you’re depressed and unmotivated now? That’s NORMAL! Right now, you are not the only blogger who feels depressed and unmotivated. Even successful bloggers like Darren Rowse and Brian Clark have experienced what you’re going through right this moment. They too have their own share of unmet expectations or objectives in blogging. They too felt unmotivated and depressed in several occasions in their blogging career. But what make them different from you? THEY DID NOT GIVE UP!!!

What you need to know about blogging.

FACT: Bloggers rarely become successful overnight. Although there are some bloggers who managed to be an overnight celebrity, their fame doesn’t last long. It normally vanishes in as short as a week.

What does this fact has to tell you? It clearly tells you that successful blogging takes time. Sometimes it takes more than a year or more to establish regular readers, authority etc. Therefore, if you want to be a successful blogger, you need more than ambition and objective. You need PATIENCE, perseverance and a clear objective.

I was able to find some really good articles about keeping yourself motivated to blog. I hope you will take the time to go over these blogs. I’ve read them myself and I’m confident to refer it to you.
