Even my website’s ranking dropped, though by couple of thousands only.

Strangely, we are seeing a consistent increase in the number of unique visitors through Statcounter.com, the changes in Alexa ranking are slightly dis-aligned.

Wondering, how to make our visitors install Alexa Tool bar!!!

Not impressed by the new Alexa Traffic Ranking update.

People with much less traffic ranked higher than me now? This is ridiculous.

I have to agree with you and with Leo. It’s excellent to see that Alexa will be using more sources of information for the site rankings than just the traffic patterns of those who’ve downloaded their toolbar. I always thought of Alexa rankings as being far from the best source of information about rankings. Now it appears it will be a better source. It’ll be interesting to see how rankings have changed. I didn’t check my Alexa rankings, so now I’ll never know whether this was a good or bad change for me. Might have to add it as a parameter worth tracking now.
