  • Do you need to submit your blog to all these search engine directories? Probably you’ve read somewhere else that you don’t need to. Why? Because when you’ve got your blog listed on major Search Engines like Google, these smaller searche engines will pick up your blog and soon, you’ll be included automatically on their directories. The problems with this is that it will take awhile before you can get traffic from these smaller search engines. It will take time before you eventually get included on their list. To make your listing to these smaller search engines faster, you can submit your blog manually. It will consume much of your time but as soon as you’re done submitting your blog, you’ll start to get more traffic from search engines.Do you have any other search engine directory you wish to share? Please feel free to leave it through the comment. You can also leave your comments and or suggestions on this post.

Free Directories – Submit Your Blog Now!

To get your blog or website a good Google Page Ranking, you should have done extra efforts in creating more links pointing to your blog. You can get a link to your blog by visiting other blogs that implement ‘DoFollow’ on their comments and leave your feedback and opinion on their posts (make sure you read the post and NEVER try to spam!).

Another way to get more links to your blog is to submit it to different directories. There are a lot of directories that offers free and paid submission but I’d encourage you to submit it for free if you don’t have the budget for paid directories. You’d be surprise that there are a lot of free directories where you can submit your blog for free. Here’s a list of directories where you can submit your blog for FREE.

Now you’ve probably heard somewhere else that submitting your blog to free directories is not really useful as most of these directories do not have good Google Page Ranking and are just newbies. Instead you are encouraged to pay for a listing in “Paid Directories” since these kind of directories have better Google Page Rank and have larger number of daily traffic. This is not true. While I do agree that paying Yahoo to be listed on their directory is really a great start, it’s not at all true to all paid directories. You will just end up wasting your money when you could have done the same by submitting your blog to open web directories. Besides, most successful paid directories originally started as free directories. Sooner or later, as Chris of Blogsrecord.com said, “What starts today as pr0 site is perhaps tomorrows pr7.” Consider submitting your blog at Blogsrecord. Here’s my review of Blogsrecord.com.

I would like to draw your attention to these two other great directories. You can choose to submit your blog for a regular link (no reciprocal link needed), submission with a reciprocal link (makes approval faster) and paid submission (you get more exposure).

Prolink Directory has a Google page rank of 5/10. Submission to this directory will not take you more than 3 minutes and you’re done. Prolink Directory offers 4 different services that you can choose from. You can choose to submit your blog and get featured for a lifetime ($49) or get your blog link featured for 3 months ($9) or get a regular link to your blog with reciprocal link or choose the regular link with no reciprocal link required.

Link Directory is a sister company of Prolink Directory. It has a Google page rank of 4/10 and features a similarly easy way to submit your blog. As their slogan says, Link Directory is 100% Search Engine Optimization friendly and human edited. This will ensure that all the blogs and websites submitted for inclusion have good contents. I have submitted my blog yesterday and I just received a notice that it has been reviewed and was approved to be included on their directory. You can click on the links provided above to go directly to the submission form where you can fill in some required information about your blog. Hit enter and your done. In my case, my blog was approved in less than 24 hours. You will be sent an email to notify you whether your blog was approved and was listed or was denied from being listed. I’m sure they’ll be giving an explanation as why your blog wasn’t approved. As always, your feedback on this post is much appreciated. Thanks you for your time.
