Hi:

 You’ve probably noticed that it’s been a while since my last entry here. Well, there’s a very good reason for that.

I’ve bitten off more than I can chew. Isn’t that a familiar sound? I’m sure you’ve been just as guilty of spreading yourself so thin that you don’t know which end is up.

The question is, what do you do to get yourself out of that endless cycle of work, work and more work?

Well, this is what I did to finally get out of it and hopefully it means that I’ll be posting more often here.

1. I made a to-do list for each day, making sure that I tried to take care of at least one piece of my business each week, which includes this blog. I will now be updating this weekly.

2. Prioritize the list. Make sure that the important things are done first. You don’t want to bury yourself with busy work.

3. As you complete each task, cross it off your list. Make sure you do this. Because if you have a lot of things to do, you may forget that you’ve done something, and then you have to go back and double check, which is a time waster.

If you do this on a regular basis, you will find, over time, that you get more done and you are more efficient with your time.

Those who know me know I hate hype, and Day Job Killer, the new Clickbank best seller is full of hype.

And that’s not all it’s full of.

It’s impossible to give a full review of this book because there is so much in it so I will just give you the pros and cons, starting with the cons because I was really disappointed.

Cons: This book is mostly about Adwords. There’s some off line stuff in there and some other tid bits, but for the most part, this is a book about Adwords. I was really hoping to get some other killer techniques for promotion. Not to be.

Pros: This is the best Adwords book you will EVER get. The techniques in here are pure genius. I have to admit. Some of them are just plain nasty. You really have to have no conscience to use some of this stuff. But when you think about it, all of what is in this book is right out in the open. Okay, let me give you a hint, but only one.

Go to Google and do a search on any topic at all. Doesn’t matter. Then take a look at the ads that appear at the top of the PPC part. If you really study them, and go to each page, you will see exactly what these people are doing to get to where they are. It’s right in front of you. You just have to know what to look for. This book shows you. And with that information, you can knock these people out of the top spot and put yourself there and do it for ANY niche.

I don’t recommend many books. The last one I recommended was 2 years ago. I haven’t found anything decent to come out since. But this book, if you are into trying to make Adwords work, is really worth it.

However, if you’re looking for much more than that, you are going to be very disappointed, as I was. Yes, the Adwords stuff is great and I will certainly consider using it. I have a conscience that bothers me when I do things to hurt other people so I may not have the stomach for this. But this will absolutely kill your competition unless they know how to battle back. Most will not.

Like I said, if you’re looking for more than Adwords, you’ll be disappointed, but if you want to beat everyone else at their own game at Google, this is the only book you need.
