Uploading files to your site.
So you have created a few pages for your new site, now what do you do? You have to upload them to your web host you chose in step 3. Typically you will upload them using “FTP”. Now you are probably thinking, “What the heck is that?” Well, don’t worry about all the technical stuff. In simple terms it is a way to get the files, or pages, that you just created onto your website, and “live” to the world.
You can just ask your web host for your FTP information or do some searching around the frequently asked questions in your control panel and you should be able to find this out fairly easily. Once you do it is just a matter of putting in the information into a free FTP client and uploading to your web site.
