Before sharing the useful blogging tips I’ve found over the week, let me remind you first about the two blog contests I’m currently running here at Blogging Mix.

  • Move Your Blog To Wordpress Contest – If you are tired of the poor hosting services provided by Blogger or if you want to build your own brand and identity, this contest is just right for you. I’m giving away a 2-Year hosting services from SiteGround + a Domain Name + a Block Magazine Wordpress Theme designed by Wordpress Rockstar Adii. But if you already have your self hosted Wordpress blog, you can still join and win the cash equivalent of all the prizes. Check out the link to the contest for more information about how to join and the other fabulous prizes up stake. The contest will end on March 30, 2001.
  • Special Contest – Win a FruitfulTime Task Manager Software – This is a special contest where I’m giving away four copies of FruitfulTime Task Manager Software. This software helps you to manage your time and taks efficiently. Visit the link to get more information about joining. The contest will run until March 16, 2008. Good luck! :D

If you are looking for more blog contests to join, check out the Mr. Javo Birthday Contest where lots of prizes are up for grabs (banner advertising, blog review, entrecard credits etc.). Winners will be announced on Mr. Javo’s birthday (March 23, 2008). Happy Birthday Mr. Javo and more power to you! :D

Okay, enough of Blogging Contests. Here are some interesting posts I managed to stumble upon this week.

  • Jeff, over at BuzzMyBlog.com shared in his post How You Can Drop Your Entrecard and Earn Credits Easily. This is potentially harmful as it could result to the decline of Entrecard Credit’s value. This is not good because it only shows how Entrecard users could cause your blog to get a high bounce rate. Don’t forget to read Jeff’s latest post where Graham Langdon, founder of Entrecard, responded to Jeff’s earlier post.
  • Jason Pereira over at TheUniversityKid.com wrote a guest post for SuperBloggingTips.com where he shared Why There’s Nothing Wrong With a Little Bit of Controversy. Find out how controversy could actually help your blog. Jason on his article also gave some useful tips to remember when making controversial posts.
  • Etienne of Etienneteo.com shares in his latest post The Importance Of Keeping a Good Journal. Visit the post and check out the 5 steps that you can take to optimize your blog.

That’s it for this week. More link love will be coming up next week as I discover more useful blogging tips. Next week, it’s all about blog traffic so if you have a post about generating more blog traffic, kindly drop your links here. I’d be happy to link to it in the next Sunday Link Love, provided of course that your tips are legit and effective. :D

Thanks for your time. Happy blogging everyone! :D
