We’ve had some great success in the past with contests here at WhyDoWork so I thought I’d start one up myself for the month of October.
Here’s how its going to go down:
- There will be a maximum of 6 chances to win per participant:
- join our rss feed and you’ll get 1 chance.
- mention this contest post and link to it on your site and you’ll get another 5 chances. (let us know in the comments)
That’s it! Just to make sure you’re subscribed to the RSS, towards the end of the month I’ll put up a special message only visible to rss subscribers. It will be hard to miss. Email in the text in the message and you’re in.
Up for grabs is a great new, video playing, iPod Nano (winner can pick the color):

what makes this contest so “spooky”?
shouldn’t you require some sort of spooky halloween themed logo before you can start branding contests as such?
We have great holiday logos every year, and halloween is no exception. Our spooky logo will be out soon!

I noticed someones profile on my facebook had this contest. Did you guys know that stuff on whydowork can be placed on your facebook? it was kind of “spooky” to see this pop up. Maybe that is where the spooky part of the contest comes from. On a scale from 1-10 on the spookiness charts I would say it was around 6.
This is too spooky for words! But not emoticons!
