Subject: Whose spider is that?
Dear Jane,
Are you sure this drawing of a spider is the one I sent you? This spider only has seven legs and I do not feel I would have made such an elementary mistake when I drew it.

Hello, I am back and have read through your emails and accept that despite missing a leg, that drawing of a spider may indeed be the one I sent you. I realise with hindsight that it is possible you rejected the drawing of a spider due to this obvious limb ommission but did not point it out in an effort to avoid hurting my feelings. As such, I am sending you a revised drawing with the correct number of legs as full payment for any amount outstanding. I trust this will bring the matter to a conclusion.
Regards, David.

I understand and will definitely make a payment this week if I remember. As you have not accepted my second drawing as payment, please return the drawing to me as soon as possible. It was silly of me to assume I could provide you with something of completely no value whatsoever, waste your time and then attach such a large amount to it.
Regards, David.

Wow… now this is a seriously funny email exchange, I would have charged for the “sending back” of the spider payment, lol.
Till then,
Jean
I have nothing much to say, just one word “Awesome!”. haha very interesting and funny email exchange, I can’t imagine how Jane felt on that moment.
Cheers,
Lee
Too funny! I think I would’ve lost it if I was Jane in that position.
Have a great day and thank you for the laugh
Now that had me cracking up the whole time reading that email exchange. I am sorry, but that was one of the best email exchanges I may have ever read. Maybe I should try that next time I have a pill to pay.
Very good, where did you find that one at?
What a funny story, can’t believe that Jane kept on replying to the emails. I would have stopped, I guess.. Very funny though..
Very funny e-mail exchange. Jane did a great job of keeping the conversation professional despite David’s absurdity. She must have had a good laugh over it too.
Now that’s just hilarious!! I have to know where you go this…did he actually since this to you or what? I must admit this email exchange had me laughing for sometime once reading through it.
LOL! OMG, I’m on the floor. This one deserves a tweet. I can’t believe the women actually returned the spider pic the second time around. She got punked!
Haha I felt funny too when the girl was sending the spider back to the guy, I guess she was trying to take the challenge of humor too. lol!
This is too funny. At least the guy can have a sense of humor about the money he owes but can’t pay. If I were Jane I would be tempted to waive the amount owing out of pity.
It would be great if things were only that simple! Jane is just a credit controller, and the decision making really doesn’t lie with her at all. 10/10 for trying for David Thorne though!
Too funny!
^^
This is copied from a prank at Zug.com Shame on you for not giving a link and then trying to sell his spider gif.
Actually its from here: http://www.27bslash6.com/p2p.html , (this is the authors site) and I did give him a link to his store where readers of this can buy merchandise with profits going to him. You almost had me though! (not)
Laugh out loud funny…
…
hehe xd
I don’t think ‘Jane’ was punked..I think she was just playing along.I personally appraise the spider at $63.12, but that’s just me…
hahahaha =)=)=) thank you forr laugh
Oh my god that is so funny. We needed something different. Well done.
The missing leg on the spider definitely must have played a role in her initial rejection. Then after the 8th leg gets added on, you know it’s just an afterthought and not a well planned spider drawing.
I also think that 8th leg spider is worth this 200$. Maybe someone just didn’t recognized that this drawing is very valuable. That is very funny indeed
hims, i wanna buy one please
hehe xd
Did the bill finally get settled, that is the million dollar question?
I have a feeling that David finally bucked up and paid the money owing. The drawing simply bought him some time to pay the balance.
This is so funny, and I think Jane deserves an award for patient customer service for dealing with this guy!
I love the part about the missing leg that gets added on later.
I think we can all do better in the business world if we have some patience and a good sense of humour!
That is hilarious! I honestly would not have minded having this kind of a conversation with someone if I were Jane. But props to Jane for being patient and humorous as well!
Yes these amusing exchanges do brighten one’s day. It may not have solved anything in the end, but I’m sure they all had some good laughs about it.
Laugh out loud funny…
Too funny!
very interesting and funny email exchange.
Very funny e-mail exchange
which type of drawing did you want to show in the post..?
Hahaha, this is great. I wonder are there many real such e-mail exchanges because I would gladly read some more of those.
Very funny
Very funny:))
That bill collector is an idiot
too funny
