I probably fall under all of those. If I was motivated to blog daily, I’d get rich. But with close to 200,000 visitors I get some money, but I’ll never retire from it. But it helps cover the hosting bills

If you’ve got passion, there’s something in my blog to be passionate about. Music, politics, technology, etc.

I am glad you like the McDonald’s gig..:) So you not totally lost! From my own experience having had a successful import business in Japan. Fun most come first before profits. If you like something and keep doing it, eventually you will make money from it.

My job today does not pay much but I really enjoy doing it. I have been doing it for about 5 years now. I am a developer and co-owner of a travel agency in Thailand. http://www.travelconnecxion.com Will I ever get my ROI? I do not know, and I have resolved to think that I will probably not, but there is still a chance I may strike Gold!

The passion of running and developing your own business is enough or remuneration that keeps me going year after year.

Finally we meet. I have had many a sleepless night waiting up for the moment you would catch me making an error in grammar. I actually have a calendar up in my room and everyday that passes, I put up a little ‘X’ to denote a successful day without any run-ins with a member of the grammar police.

I’ll be sad to report that finally, my sharpie won’t be used on that calendar, and that void on the calendar will stick out; like the void in my heart left by your comments.

not sure if I follow? I’m interested in making money online (as that is the theme of this site) so thats why there’s so many blogs on that topic. I will take your advice on the McDonalds gig – that could be fun!

I only put links where there was a post I wanted to highlight. The big blogs are a good source of news, but thats always interesting so I couldn’t pick one thing that stood out!

Thanks for the link I’ll check it out. I agree that the lack of sincerity makes things a little dry. Thats partly why I like following blogs with some honest personality.

Interesting stuff. I would put myself under 5. Really the stuff I have on my RSS is more about finding people that are entertaining but have the ability to be sincere. I thumb down so many “Pro Blogger” blogs because of the lack sincerity.
