What is Karma?

Karma is a measure of how much good a particular member has contributed to the WhyDoWork community. It's also our way to figure out whats great, whats current, and what's important to our members. Why would you want to accumulate karma? The same reason you want to win at board games, or get a high score in PacMan: it feels good. There's also the altruistic nature of it, which has been widely discussed for centuries.
