I have a friend that used this system in conjunction with My Online income system and swears by the tactics that she learned in OWM. It is definitely a legit system.

One week marketing... Yes I actually bought the book and it was okay, I mean the author of the book PotPieGirl does a good job of explaining how to make money using her own techniques, which are all free techniques by the way

Now the real question that needs to be asked, is is this the best guide out there? In my opinion you can find other courses that teaches the same thing for less or more information for the same price... Don't get me wrong though it's a good book in itself it just something I wouldnt buy for myself, I would only recommend it if I would have never heard of Internet marketing but that's about it.

hope it helps,

Instead of weighing you down with all kinds of Internet Marketing "theory," I'm going to give you the step-by-step information you need to create multiple streams of passive income, and without paying a dime out of pocket.

I was intrigued when I first heard about it, but I realized that there is really no shortcut to success. Besides, priceless information about marketing is scattered all over forums like whydowork, and its free!

That's right janice2009, information related to Internet marketing is freely available on the net. I prefer to participate in forum discussions and read free articles to stay updated.

Here is the deal with the One Week Marketing Action Plan. In fact the title of the product tells all. It is an "Action Plan" for you to follow in order to create a successful "Marketing" campaign in "One Week". It is not a teach you how to do internet marketing guide. In fact, if you don't know some stuff already you will get lost trying to use this guide. Specifically writing articles and using Squidoo.

But, it is geared towards new marketers in a certain way and that is: Most new people in internet marketing read, read, read, and read some more. We try to learn all we can about everything. The problem is that in order to be successful in internet marketing you have to actually "Do Stuff" and not just read. This is a daunting task for someone starting out. I know I need to do all this stuff, but how do I go about doing it? What do I do first? When should I do this? And so on.

What OWM does is give a written out plan of steps that you should do every day for a week to create a successful campaign. *DISCLAIMER: following OWM does not guarantee a successful campaign.* But it can greatly help.

Day 1:
do this, this, and this.

Day 2:
do this, this, and this.

Day 3:
do this, this, and this.
.
.
.
Day 7:
do this, this, and this.

It tells you exactly what to do and when to do it. All backed up by e-mails and personal messages between Jen(PotPieGirl) and a guy named Nick who she was teaching the OWM system to. You could look at it like a case study.

As others have said, you can find all this information for free somewhere on the net. What OWM will do is help you take action using your knowledge by giving you out a detailed plan to follow.

I use it. I have had success following this plan. The techniques for getting your Squidoo lenses indexed quickly are great. The important thing is to take action and not jump around everywhere always trying to find the next best greatest thing that is going to help you make millions of dollars. If you're struggling with an action plan then this might be for you. If you already have a good plan then this probably won't do much for you. Either way you could always try it out and if it's not for you then return it. Although I doubt you would want to after you use it.

I am also a memeber of Wealthy Affiliate. If you're interested you can send me a p.m. here or there if you like. Good luck and I hope this helps you out.

Thanks for this thread! I have been looking at using the One Week Marketing Plan in addition to My Online Income System too. This is really helpful. I like some of the short cuts Jen gives for free. However, I know if I weren't already doing MOIS, I would not have made it very far with her free tips and shortcuts because I would not have understood how to build a Squidoo lens, but her tips for setting up a campaign with just a Squidoo lens was really helpful.

Thanks again

Ah, PotPieGirl is awesome. I love reading her stuff. Although I have never acctually bought anything from her. Then again though I know quit a bit as it is... I have learned a lot just from reading her free stuff, I'm sure the book is worth it, I never read it though.

I don't like the implication of the Name.

Makes it sound like your off and running in a week which just isn't so.

Online marketing is an ongoing process.

As to the content I don't know, I've been too busy to check many other programs out lately.

Cheers,
Zac

No need to spend a dime on IM tips and techniques, because all IM tips can be found online for free.

True, they can be found for free, but there is value in having it all in one resource. Digging up all the info online can take a huge amount of time. For someone who doesn't mind doing the research, the info is out there, but sometimes it is kind of nice to pay a few dollars and have all the information right now! :)

I have not read OWM so I can't speak to its quality. I have heard a lot of good things about Pot Pie Girl, though.

Also agree with Zac about the title. It does seem misleading. I am sure it is in reference to how quickly you can set up the campaign (and then the real work starts), but for those who are not familiar with IM, they might believe it means start to finish...one week to $$$.
