Old scammers from the large pyramid scheme World Games Incorporated (WGI) have started a new "Gambling marketed by MLM" pyramid scheme, more or less a copycat of WGI, which has now been renamed to Aspiritus.
Several hundred thousand (more than 200 000 in Norway) people lost money on this pyramid, which stopped paying out in August 2004; and which made the Australian fraudster Gregory James (Greg) Kennedy, "Chairman" of WGI, a very rich man.
Two prominent persons in Nova Lusus are Tor Anders Petterøe and Quentin George.
Norwegian former vacuum cleaner salesman Petterøe was so-called "World Leader" in WGI and marketed the pyramid extensively.
His home was raided by Norwegian police in June 2005; His computers and documents were seized and he was charged with tax evasion, for not having reported his substantial profits from WGI in 2004.
Australian Quentin George was formerly vice president of WGI. The Royal Canadian Mounted police has a Canada-wide arrest warrant for Quentin George, for promoting an illegal pyramid scheme. ( http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/scams/pyramid_alert_e.htm
