i made this list with my experience and what you can read on internet (article, forum, site,BBB report) i recommend to visit http://www.surveypolice.com/directory, it is probably the best website about paid surveys.

What is a paid survey scam?

-they don't paid
-they charge money to register
-bad publicity

Just

Do not join any paid survey business!

It's not working as good as you think it is!!

Affiliate marketing (Clickbank products)

Paid to Click (NEOBUX)

These two businesses are what I am involved with, and I am getting paid !!

Good luck to you

Happy day~^^ :D

I think a more useful list would be of ones that aren't scams.

It's amazing to me how often I get emails from people who have read my stuff who are still asking 1. Should I pay for a list (NO) and 2. Do you recommend x, y or z site.

I agree with your list. And if I would recommend a site, I would already recommend it. Stick to the good paying sites and avoid the ones you see crazy inflated claims for.

Just a small correction: Send Earnings does actually pay. I've been paid by them before and so have my referrals.

I second this. People want to know who pay's not who does not pay. Really what it comes down to is just don't pay in order to take survey's.

There is a huge pics-n-pans list of survey sites on my forum. We also have a verified list of the real companies.

The basic advice is still the best. Learn the difference between a survey site and a GPT site. Many GPT sites claim to have surveys but they aren't "consumer research" surveys. They are offers.

Don't pay to take surveys. What you get is a list of all the different things mixed in together, survey sites, GPT's, PTR's, PTC's, etc. You will quickly find yourself inundated with spam.

Use a good proven free list of survey sites.

Join a community of survey takers so you don't miss out on a good paid study (the fill up fast because the communities all put out a "heads up".)

I too have also been paid by Send Earnings/Inbox Dollars, they are the same site, and one cannot be a member of both. Also, not all PTC programs are scams, in fact, I've made more than $20 this last week alone off of one PTC site and it has been deposited to my PayPal account, DollarClickorSignup, they are amazing, and it's all due to the fact that they have a 100% referral. However, besides those 2 corrections, Norman, your list of both the scams and the paying sites is very good. Here are some other survey sites I am a member of that I would highly recommend.

American Consumer Opinion Panel (ACOP)
Buzzback
Dollarsurveys.net
Esearch
Lightspeed
Mindfield
MyView
National Family Opinion
Surveys.com
Survey Savvy
Your 2 Cents/Toluna
Your Free Surveys

Good luck to all who take paid surveys! And please, if you ever have any questions about a site that you do not know about, make sure to ask about it's legitimacy on here, so you can avoid scams and wasting your time.

Just want to point out, while I like all the surveys mentioned in the "good list".. Neilsen Homescan does not pay you in cash. You have to scan all your purchases and you earn points. You can cash in your points for merchandise. I will also warn you, it takes FOREVER to get anything good. I tried them for about three years and in the end had enough points to get a nice dart board. ;)

photomom04 is correct. They have a point system and it does take a long time to get something good. I'm starting to wonder why I agreed to do the scans.

If you have a kid you can hand the scanner to, it does make it easier ;)
