That's what I was always told too back when I was new. Now I have been using them for 3 years and I am the one telling people they are the best.

Um, let's see. Since I'm still putting the site together and don't plan to go live with it until Feb 1, I would say, no.

Having said that, I make a consistent 6K a month with my other businesses, so I think I know what I'm doing.

Update - Jan 18, 2007

The last few days I've been pretty busy.

I just finished submitting my new niche site to several of the major search engines by hand.

Today, I wrote an article specifically for EzineArticles to get people to my site.

I will be writing 1 article a day over the next 13 days that I will also be submitting to EzineArticles.

I will submit to them ONE article per day. I don't want a ton of traffic all at once. I want this to build gradually and slowly so nothing looks fishy.

The site will go live on Feb 1, even though technically it is already out there. I'm not getting any real traffic yet and don't expect to, even though Google has already indexed my site.

I expect profits in February to be modest. I'm shooting for maybe $100 in sales. Considering my only expense is my web hosting, which is actually being paid for me through this program I am in, that's not too bad.

Of course I really don't know what to expect.

This is going to be really exciting.

PS - You know it's funny. Here I am running a successful IM niche business at about 6K a month and I'm excited about making $100 from a brand new site. I guess the thrill of new things never goes away.

Update - Jan 21, 2007

Today I worked heavily on my autoresponder series for the site.

The other day I browsed some forums pertaining to this niche and actually got my first sign up to my news letter before the site even launched. I am hoping word will get around as I go to more forums.

I'm still waiting for Google to index the site. Robots are starting to visit so it shouldn't be long.

I'm afraid that's not possible because it's not a site. It's a private invitation only program. Costs me $10 monthly. I don't even have an affiliate link. The invitation has to come from the admin.

Wish I could tell you more but I just can't until they go public, if they do.
