Hello everyone,
I just continued the test, I returned to IE6
tested cb hoplinks and affiliate links,
and guess what, there were not ANY problems with them all worked just OK like with Firefox and other Mozilla based browsers.
This is the last nail to IE7's coffin,it is NOT suitable for affiliate use
for ordinary users,just avoid it.
The only way to avoid this problem seems to use refreshing type server based redirection code in your website
in HTML mode or PHP,like I told in my first msg. but it means a lot work if we are thinking clickbank hop links
everylink must go trought this system if you want to get your commissions surely in case when someone is visiting in your cb link using IE7.
This method has worked for me,and I say that with over 20 years experience with Windows and operational systems fixing computer and server problems in telephone company where I worked 35 years in technical occupations mainly with cellular telephones and networks.
Well, you know how much ordinary users are out there
using IE7 and browsing your affiliate links...
And the result is you are getting cheated automaticly by IE7
without any purposedly affiliate theft.
So there is the problem and BIG one..
Anyway all the best luck for everyone
Aatos
Ps. I have named this as: IE7's "automatic" affiliate theft, it is real "guru" friendly affiliate secret weapon..lol..
