Believe it or not, the flogging of America continues - yes even after the FTC crackdown and AFTER Google banning many of the advertisers using flogging techniques.
I recently did a post about KevinsMoneyTree and the pervasiveness of flogging which gives some insights into why scams like "make money posting links on Google" or fake blog stories will probably never end.
MONEY - of course.
EFFECTIVENESS - of course.
IGNORANCE of the consumer - of course.
As any good scammer knows - "if aint broke, don't fix it".
That's why year after year after year, we see the same kinds of envelope stuffing scams being hit hard and heavy.
But think about how much MORE money can be made by scammers with a scam like "make money posting links on Google" - and consider how much easier it can be for them to pull it off without getting caught.
It's a bit scary to say the least.
