Do you think it will be the end of our world in 2012 for sure? I mean even if you disregard all of the belief that it is the last year of our earth, there are scientific facts that it might be. Scientists may not believe in the mayan calendar predictions but they do know that that's the year and date that many natural catastrophic events are about to happen.

The more I hear about it, the more nervous I feel. However, the Bible says that no one knows when the world will end, so I shrug it off. But the signs are there... I am confused.

I believe in the bible as well and I do believe that the end is near but i don think its just gonna blow up on 2012 or get hit with a bunch of meteors. The mayans say that in 2012 the world will end AS WE KNOW IT. That could many different things but it does imply something huge.

I had heard about all those news in the web and in newspapers too, I really don't know what to believe , but I know if it happens it will does, the best for us I think is to be ready spiritually since we really cant do anything if natural calamities or a tsunami or a meteor hits our planet.

I am not really familiar with the Mayan calendar, and I am confused why so many people kept on telling on this, I mean the calendar of the Mayan, does our calendar system base on the Mayan? sorry for the naivety but I really would like to know.

What do you think of the year 2012

I think it will be another year of online profit. I really don't think the world is going to end. It was supposed to happen in the year 2000 (Y2K) and it didn't. When 2012 ends they will add a new date that the world will end. People need to stop worrying about it, even if the world ended so what? I believe when I die I will go to heaven, so I am in no way scared.

To tell the truth, i do not believe the year of 2010 is the end of our world.
Indeed, the whole world has been witnessing the punishment nature gave us. the worsening climate, more calamities such as tsunami,hurricane, rising sea level ... we must pay for what we have done. we deserve it.
Luckily, the whole world has notice the importance of environment protection. and the UN has released related laws to call for people's consciousness of environment protection. and many counties have been adopping various methods to protect our common mother-Earth. It is never too late to do so.
i do believe that we can do something to make it up. the earilier, the better. and we should do from now on, everybody. am i right ?

Yeah well. You know I didn't really believe in the Mayan Calendar because that's just a belief. But then I watched some Discovery channel movies and stumbled upon some articles that Scientists also know ugly natural things would occur. And it would occur in the year 2012. I think that's a reason for people to be afraid of since scientists said it already.
