The team at Lionbridge with solution centres in 25 countries worldwide is recruiting part-time self-employed workers who are fluent speakers in French and English who are based in Canada to join their Online Mapping Research team.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is essential
- Fluency in French is essential
- We are seeking people who have access to the internet and who are confident in using the internet
- Excellent knowledge of local geographical areas
- Experience/know-how of using online maps and generating driving directions
- For cultural, historical and geographical awareness purposes candidates must be resident in Canada for the last year


The goal of this project is to evaluate and improve online mapping software. Candidates will need to determine and rate the effectiveness of the mapping products and provide qualified feedback on the user experience
The work will involve:
- Using online maps to investigate geographic accuracy of queries
- Grading the accuracy of online map results and locations
- Determining if City, Province and Country results are geographically accurate for your region


This project is initially expected to run for 3 months and requires 2-4 hours per week.
An immediate start is required and full training materials will be provided.
