About meAbout me? Who wants to know. I'm 52. I work full-time as a legal transcriptionist for a small but growing Canadian court reporting company called Digi-Tran, Inc (www.tscript.com). I've been with them for just over three years. If I ever get spare time I dabble in internet marketing and am slowly learning the ropes and making a few bucks. I have two dogs, a Chihuahua named Taco (yeah, I know real original but he was a rescue dog and he came with the name. I wanted to call him Julio) and a min-pin X called Hoover (like the vacuum -- long story). Oh, yeah, apparently I have no friends according to my page. And now I have three friends. Whoopeeee!!!! My BusinessesMy businesses. OMG. Where do I start. I'm a serious dabbler. I'm interested in so many things that it's hard to focus on just one but I've recently started "housecleaning" and I'm down to one or two serious projects. My best performing business right now is Incredible Concepts. I like it because I don't have a lot of time right now to spend e-mailing and building lists and all that garbage and this program does it for me. I just check in once a day and they send me prospects that are automatically put in my autoresponder so I don't really have to do much at all. I also get quite a few prospects who answer my ads from my lead capture page (which they also supply) and they go into my autoresponder. With just a couple of upgraded members I have been able to move up a level and get more perks including more leads. It's slow but it's growing and that's what counts. It's also the perfect business for the newbie marketer because it truly is automated. I also have two online Zlio stores and I'm in the process of setting up my third. Selling stuff online at a moment is a pain in the backside -- you have to deal with building your online shop, getting the products, packaging them, shipping them, dealing with payment options, technical support but thanks to a program that was recently launched in the US, all these problems are now a thing of the past. Zlio is genius! It allows you to create your own internet store (You pick your template, give it a name, and stock it with products YOU choose) even if you have nothing to sell! You don't need to know anything about programming or making websites unless you want to –- all that garbage is dealt with by them (and they make your shop look really pretty as well). You can even have Adsense and they show you how to do that AND list your store with Google and Yahoo. You can check out my two stores here: http://www.unexplainable.zlio.net http://www.unmentionable.zlio.net
AND you can have UP TO 50 STORES so you'd better get started.

My GoalsLike most people who are building home businesses I guess my goal is to be able to slow down and enjoy life -- work less and do more and retire comfortably with lots of money. I'm teaching myself about html and graphics using two free packages I recently found called Trellian Web Page which is really easy WYSIWYG editor and something called Serif which is a graphics editor and hopefully by the end of the year I'll have my own web page.
