My name is Matt and I am one of the original founding members of WhyDoWork.com
I've been involved in the WAH industry for about 6 years and have dabbled in quite a few online business ventures!
I'm currently managing and authoring the blog at WhyDoWork and spend much of my time working on the management of the social networking aspects of the site.
This is a picture taken on a recent trip to Kauai, Hawaii. It's by far one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. If your working at home and looking for a great location to work from, give it a try!
The intent of these profiles to give our members a platform to enhance their ability to connect with other members that work from home and share ideas, tips, and information on working at home!
My Businesses
This is my main focus! I have helped lead the direction of WDW for the past three years. Specifically my current focus lies in the social networking aspects of the site and the blogs.
I also do freelance web and eBusiness consulting on the side. I have worked with some great companies and I look forward to continuing to work with more great entrepreneurs. One particular site I'm excited about is Ready-Ready. It's a social networking site only for rowing and dragon boat teams. Seems like a small niche but it will definitely have a huge impact in its space. Another great new company I've recently been working with is PanVista Media in Toronto. They are on the cusp of releasing an entirely new, dare I say web 3.0 way to consume and produce magazies. If you have a growing web company and want to chat drop me a sticky or message!
My Goals
1. To make WhyDoWork the premiere social networking community for those who work from home.
2. To enable members to enhance their daily interactions with other members to improve their work and daily life.
3. To play a part in making WhyDoWork a safe, ethical, and fun site for all.
